GLOCK Field knife FM 81

An affordable, no-bullshit knife from Glock. The very same thingie is currently in use with the Austrian Bundesheer, although with a Kydex sheath & handle - on these they are polymer. These are also completely new. The model 81 has a sawback blade.

These don't have any extra stuff, just the bare necessities and simple construction. This means the price is much lower than usually expected from such a knife.

Knife

• Blade length: 16 cm / 6.3", thickness 5 mm / 0.2"
• Total length: 28 cm / 11"
• Blade material 50-55HC carbon steel with durable black coating
• Sawback blade
• The handle is made of polymer
• Bottle opener in the guard

Sheath

• Made of polymer
• Will fit most max. 6 cm / 1/4" wide belts
• The belt loop is opened by pushing it sideways
• The knife is secured to the sheath with a small tension clip
• The tip of the sheath has one drainage hole and another one for a tie string

One notable thing about this model: the polymer pommel isn't meant to be used as a hammer. Don't pound anything with it, as it will get damaged. On the other hand, even if it was broken, the flaw would only be cosmetic. It can also be levered out, revealing a hole which enables the knife to be made into a spear.
